XPE Artificial Turf Shock Absorption Pad is a high-performance elastic underlay material specifically designed for artificial turf systems. Manufactured from chemically cross-linked polyethylene foam (XPE) with a closed-cell structure, it provides essential cushioning, support, and drainage for artificial turf. This core component is fundamental to constructing safe, comfortable, and durable artificial turf playing surfaces.

 

1. Shock Absorption: Effectively absorbs impact forces generated during falls, running, and jumping, significantly reducing the risk of sports injuries such as joint sprains and soft tissue contusions.

2. Provide cushioning and rebound: Its superior elasticity delivers comfortable underfoot feel, reduces fatigue during prolonged activity, and meets professional sports performance requirements for ground impact absorption (Force Reduction) as specified by standards like EN 14808.

3. Level the foundation: Compensates for minor irregularities in concrete or asphalt bases, creating an absolutely flat surface for artificial turf installation.

4. Stabilizes turf: Provides uniform support to prevent turf from sinking or wrinkling under foot traffic, maintaining field aesthetics and consistent performance.

5. Efficient drainage: The closed-cell structure of XPE material prevents water absorption. However, specialized perforation allows rainwater to rapidly drain through the cushion's holes and the underlying base layer, ensuring quick field recovery after rain and preventing water pooling.

6. Thermal Insulation: The closed-cell structure effectively blocks ground temperature transfer. In summer, it reduces heat conduction from the foundation to the turf surface, lowering surface temperatures. In winter, it provides insulation, enhancing field comfort.
