EPDM base layer granules, also known as EPDM elastic base layer granules, are a key material in sports flooring systems (such as synthetic running tracks, sports courts, and kindergarten activity areas) that serve as the bottom layer, providing support, cushioning, and elastic recovery. They are typically composed of black EPDM granules, with a layer of coloured EPDM surface granules and sprayed surface layer applied on top.
